I seem to be having trouble with my GPU. I noticed the other day while doing absolutely nothing (only thing open was evga precision window, steam and asus sound card software in the system tray) that the card was stuck at 1045MHz/3506MHz even though the stock defaults are 1046/3505. I figured it was something to do with the prefer maximum performance option in the nvidia control panel. When i checked though it was set to adaptive. So i set the card to default clocks and stopped EVGA from running at startup. Still the same thing. I completely removed EVGA precision and its settings/profiles and again its still doing it. So i did a complete reinstall of the graphics card drivers and its still doing it?? When i restart the computer its fine and idles ok. I fire up a game and turn it off and then check and it will maybe idle again or maybe wont. Then when it doesnt it just stays stuck at the clocks i mentioned previously.
Any ideas anyone?
Thanks
