7700, 7700X or 7800X3D

Got a B650 TUF board but undecided on what CPU to get.

As i got a B650 instead of the X670 i could squeeze the 7800X3D into the budget.

Only really play fortnite.

Was looking at a 7700, but the X is only a fiver more. But is the X3D worth the extra 70 ish?

Will my existing Corsair H100X be ok for a cooler?

Cooler will be fine for all your CPU choices.

What resolution you gaming at in game detail and target FPS as a lot will depend on your GPU choice?

FYI: the non-x includes a usable cooler, which the X does not.

The X3D gives a big bonus to FPS @ 1080p/1440p in many games, so it often is worth the £70, but at 4K the difference is less and Fortnite doesn't appear to benefit from these benchmarks:

I have the b650 tuf matx with a 7800x3d in and it's been great.
