So Kaby Lake 7700K + motherboards have been available for purchase in mainland Europe since November.

Launch was 3rd January. NDA rumoured to be lifted on 5th January (Today).

So when exactly will it be available for purchase in the UK?

Also, I am awaiting ASUS Maximus motherboards. There have been numerous review samples and they have been launched on the ASUS website. Any word on UK availability for these too please?

Thanks!

Is this confirmed, or rumour?

Any ideas regarding time?

Presumably, based on Intel Headquarters then Santa Clara UTC -08:00 12pm? That would translate to 8pm GMT? (When everyone has gone home, and orders can't be shipped) :)

The Media NDA and Retail NDA are on different dates for this launch. This is due to the CES announcement.

Watch the website later today.

No that's the pre launch information that has been going round. I believe the NDA regarding selling is up later on today.. ;)

It's a full review, they had a retail sample, not a leak or regurgitate of manufacturer pre-launch information.

Surely NDA is the wrong word, you're on about when the sales embargo lifts, not the non disclosure agreement :P

LOL Tomato Tomato... :p

Normally Intel do a launch with the products being available to buy on the same day all the media information is released but as ScottiB said because of CES its been a little different.

The current time in las vegas where CES is taking place is 06.25am. They are 8 hours behind us. So I am presuming Intel Ceo and the rest are sleeping at the moment. When they wake up and make the announcement then we will have the kabylake cpus available :p
