Can you buy them? I've never seen them anywhere and need to replace all 4 or its new fan time.

Cheers.

It's for an Arctic Freezer pro, the plastic bits are in bad shape, seems a shame to throw it out, but it wont fully clip and stay in to my mobo so the old stock fan is actually beating it by 20c ATM.

take the pushpins off stock cooler, and replace the freezer 7 ones (means cutting the ali and a bit of bending)

Was thinking about doing this, but dont want to knack the stoke cooler which is doing quite well ATM.

What do you mean regarding the bit in brackets mate?

here is a good well photo'ed how-too

For a different HS but you see what I'm talking about - clicky

If you don't have a decent hardware store near you - these are a good alturnative

As a final note, many use nylon nuts/bolts as you have a bit of flex and zero conductivity
and also use an extra 'locking' nut on the top of the mobo so that you don't have to hold the bolt in place as you line up your block/HS.

Here are two images of what I used with my waterblocks

Arctic cooling have a spare parts shop on a popular auction site.

Have a search for Item number: 270149994571

I think these are what you are looking for.

Cheers, but with delivery etc i might as well pick up a cheap stock cooler.

This is great stuff, going to print that image and take it to my local hardware store and see if i can get it all.

Thanks.

PS: honestly can't believe nowhere sells something like this regularly, its a fantastic idea.

I bottled out and bought a new fan!

Bah.

Think i'm going to try that screw thing though on the Freezer for someone elses computer just for the experience.

Thanks for all the info people, much appreciated.

Just a word of advise - don't experiment on others stuff, can get expensive
drill a bit of hard board and try the mod yourself with your now redundent ACP or better still a dead mobo

It worth doing on a SB and NB too if they just use the standard spring pins.

Can knock 5-8c easy, more if you use MX-2/AS5
