If so I know what I'm buying :3

Yes why would it not work? If its the PCIe 3.0 thing that was making you wonder then dont worry its backwards compatable with PCIe 2.0

Oh we good. We good. When will OCUK stock these? I imagine not at 5am. But what time will they be up for Pre-Order? :D I need to go cashpoint xD

I'd see what prices they come in at first.

Lower performance than a HD 6850:

AMD Radeon HD 7750 and 7770 review

You can pre-order a HD 6850 for £90:

Asus ATI Radeon HD 6850 DirectCU V2 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card **PRE-ORDER ONLY PRICE**

It looks like the HD 7770 is going to be a lot more expensive:

Yes for the manufacturer, hence me getting the deal I wanted. :)

We shall be selling 7770's at £130-£140ish, so even then this card is superbly priced.

7750's shall be around £105-£115. :)

As such this is bargain!

Also remember this 6850's are 256-Bit memory interface, wheras the 77xx cards shall only be 128-bit, as such it is still unknown if the 7770 will be as quick as a 6850.

It's still a poorer performer than the HD 6850 even when overclocked.

At £110 it's £20 more expensive and, if Gibbo is correct, it'll be £40-£50 more expensive.

But its got 7 infront of its name? :D And I don't play big FPS rapers like BF3, MW etc.

We'll see about the price. If its £130> then they can sod it :D

I've ordered a 7770 for £107 inc VAT.

I know the 6*** potentially offer more bang for buck - but the 7 series seems to have much better power usage overall which swung it for me

This ^

I'm still ordering one. Although I was tempted to go for a 580.. I might Crossfire two 7750's... Its on the cards. But then I will have to watercool which I don't want the hassle of.
