I have now had my MSI 780 Lightnings for a week and am loving them.
The main thing that held me back and made me want the EVGA classified more was the colour scheme MSI chose - Yellow yuk!!!
Everything in my setup is based on Red. Well red, black and chrome.
Anyway, I could take the yellow no longer, so put my modding boots on today and here is the result
The yellow highlights on the card are painted on plastic apart from the yellow fan which is actual yellow.
I did not want to void the warranty, so rather than paint over with red, I used red electrical tape to cover the yellow. It does mean the fan is still yellow and maybe, one day, I will spray it red, but as the fan does not actually show when in the case, i left it alone.
