780 or 780Ti?

im looking to upgrade from a gtx680 to a 780,
what would be worth going for a 6144MB 780 or a 780Ti which only seem to come with 3072MB? or are they going to bring out a Ti with more Memory?

It all depends on what plans you have for future resolutions. If you are 1080P and staying that, I would go for a 780 or if your wallet agrees, a 780Ti (there is a fair jump in performance) however, if you intend on going for a big resolution, I would look to the 6GB 780 and then look to SLI further down the line

well im happy enough with 1080p anyway im only on a 24" led monitor anyway so wouldn't really benefit from higher res, but i do like higher smoother frame rates, it wont be for a few months anyway so something else shiny might be out by then

I would wait till autumn when the 8 series are supposedly comming out if you have a 680. Bear in mind the price for 880 will be through the roof on release. As said above the 6gb Ti got scrapped.
