780 or 7990

Tried it in Batman AO, looks awful :)

Thought you had 680s or 6 something's? So that ain't AMD hardware.

As far as I know TXAA only works on Kepler (and above) so would be surprised if it functioned correctly if at all on anything else.

TXAA looks good to me. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Which is what I tell myself when looking at myself in the mirror.

Yeah, I meant I tried it on nvidia and wouldn't want it on over MSAA on either nvidia or amd :)

Both about £400 but I can't decide on which one. Would duel 7970s be better than a 7990 also does the 7990 have microstutter or any other issues etc.

Thanks

Btw why only 7990 or 780? R9 290 (non x) is faster than a GTX780 and cheaper.
And for ~£30 you can get a fully kitted after market cooler. (Gelid Icy Vision-A rev 2).

Now the 7990s are back down to £400 I'm quite tempted to pick one up for my second rig.

My only concerns with a 7990 is coil whine.
Of course if you plan to run Eyefinity I don't think they've got frame pacing working with Crossfire 7900 cards and Eyefinity yet.
If neither of these things worry you, I'd say the 7990 would be the best buy.
