7800GT Drivers

Hi Guys, I just wanted to ask a quick question here to update nvidia drivers I would have to download then will it update it or do a clean install?

Also Is the Omega Drivers much better then the Nvidia?

You need to download the latest drivers and place in an obvious folder.

Go to control panel, add/remove, and delete the current nvidia drivers.

Reboot

Go to the folder you downloaded the new drivers and install.

I've heard driver cleaner is very good at cleaning out old drivers, although I've not used it myself.

Driver cleaner is the only way to be sure that ALL traces of your old drivers are removed... Having said that, i usually just uninstall and install fresh drivers after a reboot and have had zero problems...

Hmm, Ok what difference would It make to install new drivers since I'm getting my monitor today would It possibly give me better frames on games?

Use the latest drivers available and if you have a problem with a particular game you play then try older drivers.

I have never uninstalled nVidia drivers, I just doubleclick the new drivers and install them over the older ones
