7800GT Extreme Compared to the rest

I bought this early this year and was really chuffed with it - HOWEVER, i didnt realise that i got fleeced on the price as the new 7900's were coming out - so exactly how much better are the 7900's? i want to know because not sure whether to jack my 7800GT in for a new card - i rekon i can afford about £200

any ideas? and how crap is my 7800 compared to a 7900?

I think its arround 2/3 the performance of a 7900GT (same as a 7800GTX 256MB card).

Well for that sort of money you can get a card that offers close to double the performance of your current card.

The options from quickest ....
X1900XT 512MB
X1900XT 256MB
7950GT
X1800XT - 7900GT
....to slowest.

k - im just pretty miffed that my card is pretty old news now- although i can run Oblivion on nearly max settings which is an achievement in itself!!

Sell it, there's plenty of demand for 7800GT's out the from what i hear.
