7800GT

Hi Guys,

I recently bought the OCuk 7800GT (actually a Pixel View Card), with the rest of my new rig.

I was wondering what results people have managed to achieve when OC there 7800GT (Both GPU and Memory)???????


Also, is it or isnt possible to unlock these cards and make then a 7800GTX?????

Can't unlock 7800GTs to GTX I am afraid.

As far as i know they will not unlock at all, but they do overclock to well beyond regular GTX speeds. My leadtek was 400/1000 at stock i think but it overclocks to about 470/1.15 without any serious problems. I've had it to 495/1.2 but it was pretty messy at that level.

Mines at 490/1.18 for regular gaming.

Mines a point of view card (OCUK one) not a Pixelview one though. Are you sure yours is Pixel View?

I've also got a Zalman VF700CU on mine Quiet and fast!
