7800GTX or 7900GT

The Top X1900XTX score I believe to be more like a single one ( and note it doesnt mention CF) dont know what the MUCH lower bottom 1900XTX score is meant to show unless thats just an XT ( that a lot of XT's get to XTX speeds is also worthy of a mention) - XTX's on average are around 7900GTX also in performance across different apps/games

I can believe 7600GT sli'd equate to a 1800 XT, which is what graph shows, but not 1900

And once many apps are taken into account 7600's would be much lower down than an 1900XT(X)

Here's a proper 7600gt sli comparison from anandtech which shows that the sli'd 7600gt's get a slap in the face in most things, Quake 4 being an anomaly.

Here's another one but not sli 7600's though.

If i were you i would get another 7800gt and sli them. They will give you more than enough power for a good while yet. It's what i have got and i am more than happy with them.

The speed that new graphics cards are coming out lately there will be something bigger and better again within a few months. Who knows, we may get dual core graphics with an inbuilt physics processor by the end of the year?

Nvidias new mid range card.
Bit faster than the 6800GS, slower than the 7800GT.

ATI will be releasing the X1800GTO to compete.

I wouldn't bet on. It is well known that the X1800GTO is very expensive to make and is in extreme;y limit supply. So although it is a great chip it will barely exist and wont be a good value card anyway. AN X1900Xl on 80nm is looking more likely at this stage.
