7800X3D and 5090

Hi all,

Slightly premature as I'm 16th in the queue for 5090 and means it could land between now and 2028.

Apologies if this has been covered. I'm currently on a 2 year old Corsair 1000W PSU with a 7800X3D? Should I look to upgrade to 1200W.

Reading online unsurprisingly, some people say it's an massive issue others none.

I personally wouldn't, 1000w should be enough.

It should be fine, 7800X3D sips power, so most of that will be available for the GPU.

I've got a 1000w PSU and have zero issues with 9800X3D/5090
