7800X3D Package Temperature Delta with Core

These are my idle temps is it normal for package temp to be so much higher than core?
just checking I've put the cooler on properly....

am running stock with expo enabled and 1.125 Soc voltage. NH-D15.

Check your cooler screws, my temps were the same when i just built my system, i tightened the screws and dropped 10c.
Currently 37c with fans at 600rpm cinebench gets up to 78c fans about 80%

i only did them 'thumb tight'
interesting in cinebench 30 mins both core and package converge to package 88c and core 85c
