7800X3D upgrade

Rather than going down the 5800X3D route, I am toying with the idea of a 7800x3d build. However, I am a bit out of the loop and despite doing some reading over the last few days I feel the hive mind of ocuk might be able to offer some guidance.

Current spec Asus Dark hero X570, 32gb DD4 and a 5800x

Generally speaking: the higher the resolution, the less worthwhile, but as you can see from the results, it is not an exact science.

If you have a graphics card that is significantly less powerful than the 4090 in their tests, that'll also reduce the difference.

At the moment I have a 3090 and game at 1440p, but I was hoping for advice on those parts being compatible together

Watched that HU vid, changed my mind and got a 5800X3D in the end
