780i

evga by far

or MSI, the new one seems to be doing pretty well

but ASUS always seem to make a mess of their nvidia boards, so i'd aviod them

to be honest though, you are going to get so many different answers here, based on everyones experiences etc, so as long as you buy new, and have a warrenty, i'd just pick what you like and go for that

As ususal, the reference design seems to be the best, and in that case, get one of the reference based boards. The major differences will be warranty and after sales support. EVGA are pretty good in this respect, and, from experience, XFX are most certainly not.

My 680i is bfg, and if BFG did a 780i, my money would go there (although i am waiting 790i) But if not, i rather like EVGA, especially when they told everyone that they could send their 680i's back and get a new revision board free of charge (well, have to pay p+p)

I dont know and I DONT CARE, thats my input same as other threads. yourself m8.

Buying them is only giving Nvidia cash for crap IMO and about another 1000+ peeps on forums all over.

not helpful input though is it all i see you do is bash the 680 and 780 boards all because of a few little bugs or something that you couldnt be bothered to work out yourself instead you bash nvidia  back at ya

Listen why dont you simply butt out, you are clueless.

The 680 and 780 are bug ridden, how the hell can the end user solve them (write new Bios and Drivers and revamp PCB) ?. back to you again.

You obv dont spend much time outside this forum, advise you visit some others inc XS.

A blind man or someone in denial cant miss the amount of threads dedicated to the 680 and 780.

My advise to anyone here is not to buy a 680 or 780, they are the most returned Mobo at OCUK, esp the Asus models (FACT), and there is others here who share the same views and have posts openly that view in the threads which we are free to do so.

If you dont like it dont visit the threads.

It's the ASUS 680/780 that is mostly bug ridden. The reference board is a lot better, it may still have bugs here and there, but what board doesn't?, once it works, it's a good board. I guess everyone is different, some people have bad experiences and some people have good. It doesn't mean everyone will tho, so it's up the the user if they should buy it or not.

which is the best 780i mobo?

The EVGA 780i or the MSI. The ASUS seem to have a lot of problems.
