So my Air 540, 4770k, 16gb ram, maximus vi formula pc is almost complete.

I'm missing one important part though, the graphics card. As Im finding the choice as daunting as the rest of the build, I could do with a little help. :D

I was at first looking at the ASUS direct cu II, (coming out later this month), but after reading reviews it looks like it is a little pricey for what it gives, so...

the EVGA dual classified was my next choice, but I'm too out of touch to know if its the card I should be going for.

Note I am currently running 1080p. lol

But I am going to up to a higher resolution at some point.

Help and thoughts appreciated. ;)

well thanks for that reply. :D

You've basically echoed my thought process. 780's and the ti's are great cards and I would be happy with any of them, but which one? lol

Also is it me or have the prices gone up a little? Would it be worth it waiting until the 24th and see if there is a decent reduction when the new cards come out?

sigh, one of these days Ill be able to make a decision when spending this sort of money, but doesn't look like today.

Motherboard is bought and paid for....i dunno I looked and looked and finally made my mind up that it was a good choice. Maybe your right, I should have gone cheaper or just shelled out for the extreme, but its too late now.

The rest of the build is almost complete...windows installed on the ssd, but still need to get fan controller in and working as well as any updates, cable management etc.

Just the graphics card to sort out. I have thought about the 780, but was thinking of going multi screen in the future, so maybe buying the ti now would save in the long run.

Arrrgghhhh....the more i think about it the more confused i'm making myself. I think I have decided I am going 780ti.

I have spent a lot of time looking to see if the Gigabyte 780ti GHZ was going to become available, but its still not here, (overdue). - Though Im still not 100% that its the right card. What would you choose instead of this?

Should I just buy the damn GHZ edition be done with it and then wait for them to get shipped?

Thanks again.

I know, I know. I've almost bought nearly every card so far.

Just can't make up my mind the best way to go, but I think the Gigabyte GHz might be as good of a choice as any, since its supposedly quiet and fast straight out of the box.

I've done some searching, but can't find out when these cards are supposed to be available in the UK. Any info? (the site says overdue, but has for a while now).

Should I be purchasing the card, so I'm in line for the first batch and would I be okay to cancel before shipping, just incase I change my mind....
