So I have the itch again as Watchdogs is approaching and I feel my single MSI Gaming edition 780 will not be enough @1400p. I had 2 of said cards but I sold one in november to purchase my PS4 and XB1 on launch day(s). I have been looking at getting either a Classy or a lightning (both 780) to pair with it or would I be able to throw a Ti in there in SLI? The obvious second question being....should I bother with the ti anyways and just get a 780 instead?

Just buy another 780. Don't waste your money buying a gpu with only a slight increase. I game at 1440p myself and my 2 780's are super powerful.

Yeah. when I had the second one there was nothing I could not not run maxed but I thought that buying the new consoles would limit my time on the PC so it would have been wasted really

There is a fair increase on the 780Ti over the 780 to be fair but if you are looking at it from a sensible point, SLI 780 FTW!

+1.

SLI 780s are beasts at 1440p, they slice through basically every game I play at maximum settings (except for Crysis 3, but the more demanding Anti-Aliasing adds very little in terms of visual fidelity at this resolution and higher anyway). They'll be grand for Watch Dogs, hopefully the graphics will look as good as the Nvidia technology trailer shown a month or so ago :)

True ,but it ain't by a lot though. Definitely not worth buying...he has a 780 just buy another and save yourself £200. 2 780's will destroy a 780Ti and then some.

Thought about a classy but as I will have two cards then 100mhz here or there wont really matter so I will probs get another Gaming ed or the Gainward phantom as its the cheapest non-ref OCUK have

Aye cheers boys. Quite looking forward to another 780 as I loved my 2 gaming eds. The only small nagging factor is microstutter which I can always see no matter how small it is.
