in MSI afterburner i have no voltage control for the ram. should i assume that the ram voltage is linked to gpu voltage?

What is a good safe max voltage for a day to day use.
also what sort of core should i be looking at.

what is the best program to use for bios modding to run constant core instead of the random boost that just dose what ever its wants to

1) Yes - single voltage adjustment.
2) Anything you can set in Afterburner 'should' be safe just keep an eye on temps.
3) Anything in-between 1200 & 1300. I have benched mine at 1279 but it wasn't game stable.
4) Kepler BIOS Tweaker is free and will do what you want, I have it uploaded here, but Svets vBIOS Tuner is easier to use and has more functionality however it is donationware (~£11) the support was very good when I needed it.

You might find this OCUK thread interesting as well as this one from overclock.net.

thank you

thank you

No problem, if you need assistance with BIOS modding to fix clocks / voltages post back, it's been a while since I did mine but it should come back to me.

I forgot to mention another of the advantages of Svets tuner is it allows you to customise your fan profile so you can set everything at BIOS level and not need any tuning software running.

Have a look for a skyn3t bios. Him and his brother made some great bioses for my 780 and titan.

However I think nvidia changed the voltage controller on the 780ti to one that cannot be fully unlocked. However 1.212v is the max and I run that 24/7 under water.

The Skynet BIOSs are available from both the links I posted at the bottom of my first post, I don't believe Gregster updated the ones on his thread though so the ones on overclock.net should probably be used in preference.

1.212 would be all i ever needed. am not looking for silly hi volts i just like the card to do as its told, and not as it wants to.
