Basically I bought one of the 780ti's that were on offer a couple of months back and unfortunately have had nothing but problems with it.

Constant game lock ups usually once an hour but lately getting more regular. Nvidia driver errors in the event view. I've tried to get it RMA'd back because it just not worth the effort involved but I'm getting a little bit of resistance when I have tried. I have changed the motherboard, changed the drivers about 5 different versions because I know some drivers with NVIDIA cause problems etc etc.

My rig is an older rig but never had an issue with it until this new card got put in and the BIOS is on latest available although the last update was a couple of years ago for it.

Can anyone give me any pointers because OC don't seem to enthusiastic about letting me return it and I can't afford just to bin it and buy another one.

I have a 630W PSU and a Q8 series Core 2 Duo extreme and a strike extreme motherboard. Yes old tech but it's been solid until this card.

Humm ok sent a RMA notice for it so all good. Will just replace. Ahh sorry they wont give me a refund for some reason and said I will have to send it away for up to 28 days and might only get a "partial refund" which is just ridiculous. Anyone from OCUK give me any advice regarding this because I can't be without a PC for 28 days???

edited as Core 2 does not have onboard graphics.

In the last year or two the distance selling regs changed and now pro-rata refunds are given (meaning you get sliding scale of refund).

Also I just sold a 780 for £160 and bought a 780ti for £190 second hand. You could always do the same.

(by the way I believe you get the option of the pro-rata refund or they repair it. You could go for the repair and get a £10 G-card off eBay so you can use the computer?

Well if a "sliding scale" is the new way of refunding I wont be buying anything new again that's for sure. Basically if you use it for 10months and have to RMA it then it's found to be faulty but can't replace they will give me £25 on "pro-rata" sounds like a new way of scamming customers tbh.
