7850 1gb in xfire

I got a cheap 7850 1gb msi card from ocuk for xmas(£125 bargain) and it works well,but im reading increasingly that with newer games 2gb of gddr5 is what is needed. my m/board is a gig z77 d3h which runs x fire at 16x/4x speed,would i see any big improvements xfiring,cant seem to find anythin on the net about this

You will get more fps, but you won't be able to turn settings up towards max in vram hungry titles.

Forget reading about what games need, you'll only make yourself believe you need one.

Unfortunately not.

The VRAM is mirrored, not added together, so effectively you still only have 1GB.
