7850 Artifacts

After upgrading the drivers to 13.1 I've started noticing that I'm getting artifacting in games and on things like Facebook chat and pictures on Autotrader. This is with a VTX3D 7850 at completely stock clocks and voltages. It has a reference style cooler as well. Temps aren't a problem, as at idle they'll be at about 35-40 and goes to around 65-72 under load.

Does anyone have any troubleshooting steps I could try to fix it?

Sorry for gravedigging but to fix this just increase the power in afterburner or overdrive to 5%, the card needs more power due to having such a high factory oc

Sounds like a flash issue possibly. This is what Thracks had to say about the issue in question.


There are some video playback bugs that are firmly in the Mozilla camp. They know about them. I'm trying to ascertain if there's anything on our end. Flickering qualifies.

Perhaps you should add him to your contracts/friends list so you can send him a trust as he might require some info from you.
