I'm thinking of getting 7850 crosssfire for my x79 build, is there anything better at similar price, not bothered if it nvidia, i just like my muti-gpu set-ups.

Agreed, its just the price of single cards, i can spend about £160 on a card now and the same in a couple of weeks or so.
