I have a VTX3D 7850 and the stock cooler had a small fan that used red and black pin connector.
I bought an Arctic Accelero Mono Plus cooler that only has 4 and 3 pin connectors, I was running it off a PWM splitter from my other 7850 to control the VTX3D but I decided to have a tinker.
I pulled the red and black pins from the 3 pin connector on the Mono Plus and used the 2 pin connector from the stock cooler to plug into and then into the card.
The fan seems to be PWM and I've been running a burn-in test using furmark and it's never gone above 60 degrees.
Is it safe to use without the yellow wire coming from the fan?
