hey guys, first post, and probably a topic thats been done before although i cant find it on here.
so here's the story:
built me computer last october. installed asus radeon hd 7850
ran for a couple of months no problems, on stock clock took everything i threw at it with every setting maxed, didnt even break a sweat.
unfortunatly i then started getting random flashing triangles not long after going from the original version of the drivers [12.6 i think] to the latest 12.10
eventually tracked down it was a driver issue, so ended up uninstalling the 12.10 drivers and going back to the originals.
that was fine, except randomly when trying to start something graphics related [games, videos, never on desktop/browsing] i'd get a bluescreen. everything would go down, fire back up and then run as if nothing went wrong.
eventually a stroke of luck identified it as the graphics drivers, so now i'm back on 12.10. thing is, although i havent tested yet i'm pretty sure it'll have the same problem as before.
so am i stuck between being unable to play certain games or putting up with bluescreening every other day, or is there some other solution i can look into? i'd hate to have good hardware spoiled by the software.
