Hi,
I bought a rig roughly 2 weeks ago which has a i5 3570k, a Sapphire 7850 NON-OC and 4GB Vengeance DDR3 RAM. The thing is, was I expecting too much? I am running the latest 12.4 drivers and I get 21fps on GTA IV with Icenhancer, and the graphic settings in the menus aren't even that high! (I've seen gameplay of someone playing it smoothly on a GTX 560?) I also play Company of Heroes, and I can't play a 2007 game maxed out on a 2012 graphics card? Is it the drivers or is it a defective card? I also get random stuttering on Skyrim occasionally.
Rarely as well, my PC just locks up when doing things like web browsing, or sometimes whilst a game is running but I am doing something else in the background.
Should I try the 12.3 drivers and see if the problem persists? Or would the 12.5 BETA drivers be worth a try?
Thanks for all your help, Luke.
