7850 no output D:

My bundle of stuff arrived today and I've been busy assembling and have hit a snag. The 7850 I have doesn't seem to output anything :S its all hooked up and I'm pretty sure its seated properly, fans spinning and all. I have tried my old 5770 in the same slot on the new mobo just to see if it is a problem with the slot, and that starts fine and outputs. I've also tried putting my 7850 in my old motherboard and that worked fine too. So yeah I'm rather confused... to summarise:

7850 + Gigabyte Z77X-D3H = no signal
5770 + Gigabyte Z77X-D3H = signal
7850 + Asus M4A77TD (old mobo) = signal

I am kinda stumped so any help here would be appreciated! Thanks in advance

Try this first,

Latest BIOS from here - http://uk.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4325#bios

Download and extract to a USB thumb drive.

Boot into the BIOS and select Qflash.

Follow the instructions.

Aha that worked! Guess it was f14 - improved vga compatibility that did it. Thanks very much
