7850 or 7870?

Trying to pick a GPU & had finally narrowed it down to a 7850 2GB (Asus HD 7850 DirectCU II V2 2048MB is the most likely as I saw a review of it online and seemed to tick all my personal boxes), but now seeing as this week there is a deal on 7870's, is it worth going one model up?

Also, does getting a different "make" make any difference (Sapphire/asus/HIS/MSI etc)?
 
If you can justify the 7870 price, that is a much better choice and as for the makes and models, look for the ones with the best RMA feedback such as Gigabyte/MSI/EVGA. The last thing you want is to have to wait weeks if you run into any issues.
 
I would personally go for the 7850 unless you can afford to go for the 7870XT.

The 7870XT is a declocked 7950, for £200 its a bargain though it is £40-£50 more than the 7850..
