7850 upgrade

Hi All

Been out of the graphics card field for a couple of years now and still have my reliable 7850 but feel the time for an upgrade is upon me.

Would really appreciate your advice on the best way to go. Gaming at 1080p mainly, would say a budget of £250 may be able to push a little higher.

Thanks for the above, looking at the two though it seems to me that the gigabyte is the higher clocked of the two

But the gigabyte is a 290 whereas the MSI is a 290X so the higher clocks on the 290 means you won't have as much overclock as you would get on the 290X.

Overclock the 290 will bring it up to the 290X maybe a little more, overclock the 290x and you're pushing a lot more!
