Firstly im loving this game currently lvl14 gunzerker and this game is a mega challenge which is great!

So this game runs physx which of course is a problem with amd cards as far as i know right?
The problem is im getting unplayable frame rates as the levels get harder and more enemies spawn around me. Infact its getting pretty much unplayable at times with reports of as low as 12fps while using fraps
Am i the only one experiencing this low frame rate problem?
Will amd sort this out do we think with drivers in the near future?
Is there anyone with any info on this subject who can help me out please?

my specs are:

i5 2500k
asus 7850
asus h61 mobo
corsair vengeance 8gb

Its a real shame because this game is great as well

I have the same card and it only runs slow with the physx on, I completed it with physx set to high as I just put up with the slow down when it happened as it wasn't too often.

Im trying my best to put up with it, but its just unplayable at times. Thats set at meduim physx. I know you say its not that often but tbh it feels really laggy throughout. Like my cursor movement is twitching around at times i find it difficult to target enemies while scoped because of this.
Maybe your just more patient than i am. Although iv got this far i suppose.
It seems a real shame to turn off a feature of a game, im sure it will detract from the overall gameplay effect as a result!
Il give it a shot later on then without the physx see how it goes
cheers guys!

The problem is that rightly or wrongly PhysX has been implemented in this game and it's locked to Nvidia GPU's only.

If can run off the CPU but as you've seen performance can nosedive at points. PhysX is Nvidia tech so if you don't have a Nvidia card and you really want it you've either got to buy a Nvidia card, eat the low frame rates or turn it off.
