Hi all again,

My VTX3D 7870 problem has not gone away.

I recently uninstalled ALL AMD drivers from my system and reinstalled everything i.e chipset, audio (for sound blaster) and all video drivers via the latest 14.4 drivers. BUT still get BSOD in titanfall and sometimes l4d2...

I have checked each stick of memory using memory diagnostics in windows... chkdsk'd hdd and ssd and ran hdtune error tests on both, checked my audio and every other test I can think of... i have even wiped my hdd and ssd clean and reinstalled windows BUT still get them bad old bsod's we all hate.,...

i recently came across this on my system:

might be my problem???? Not sure how to fix....

I have rang OcUK and can send it back for testing and get a replacement, but the above image makes me wonder... is it really my GPU or are AMD still messing us around with crappy driver updates...

System Specs:

AMD FX-6350 @3.9 stock
Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P
Avexir DDR3 Yellow Series 1600mhz (2 * 4GB)
VTX3D HD Radeon 7870 2GB @ stock
Sandisk Pulse SSD 128GB
Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD
XFX Pro550W PSU
Cooler Master Seidon 120M Hydro Cooler.

Any help would be appreciated..

Thanks

Cinderz

THIS IS DRIVING ME BLOODY NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anything showup in windows event viewer?

when it crashes does whole pc crash or just display driver stop/recover?

using xmp for your pc memory? and tried setting the power control in ccc to 20%??

it does it at stock cpu clocks?

don't know amd systems but you might need two or three clicks more cpu northbridge voltage over what auto uses

basically memory controller voltage,not dram

erm.. everything at stock atm... aint touched nothing

its all down to do with my drivers i think... i am going to use driver sweeper this evening in safe mode to get rid of everything then reinstall all my drivers again...

i thought i could be my sound card.. creative audigy se... but not too sure

try

Look in the Start menu for command prompt. Right click on it and choose properties. Click 'Run as admin' and type:
sfc /scannow

see if it finds/fixes any corrupt files

i have used driver sweeper, got rid of everything nvidia and amd... not a trace... then reinstalled all drivers etc... and still happening...

twice today in l4d2....

XMP is on... mem set to 1600mhz default... still error oxa000001 and aoddriver3.0 failed to start....

i can send my gpu back to see if thats the problem, but it means 4 weeks with no system!

anymore advice at all?

thanks

cinderz
