if they move the goal posts then there isnt much we can do, its wrong from that point on, all i mean is people have done it for years, and its not in black and white that "though shalt not mention a cheaper price that you paid for your product"

Amen brother! I guess we are all going to have to check the FAQ's before 'every' post just to check whether Gibbo has added a new rule . My guess is that most peeps on this forum aren't thick and have a clear understanding of rules and proceedures: the same intellect that means we know when Gibbo is telling porky's. Give us a bit of credit please OcUK, we all have internet access and credit cards along with reciepts of products we've bought from elsewhere (cheaper). The 'moving of goal posts' (nice analogy btw) is exactly why i will ALWAYS hunt for a better price before shopping here....and i havent bought anything from here in a long time. Be truthful and fair with your customers and you will most likely see more loyalty from them too. My rant is over.

I disagree - this is a private forum for which you are granted a privileged right to post. No-one here has rights, only privileges. Gibbo or any of the Dons can do as they please.

People should shop around for the best deal, but I do often find OcUK have the best - look at the graphics section - X1800XT 512MB £252 - I upgraded to this as it was an amazing, unrivalled price. They do often have very good deals. If one doesn't shop around, then he/she is a fool but intellectualising about what an Admin states as an administrator of a forum is moot.
