7900GS ~ £100 upgrade

I currently have a MSI 7900GS card and want to look at upgrading it, what card would be a worthwhile upgrade from this for around the £100 mark?

I game on a 22" so 1680*1050 is my max res, at the moment the newer games like Crysis I struggle to play smoothly at anywhere near that!

I have a C2D 6600, 4gb ram, Vista 64

Thats what I like a nice clear decision :)

How much of a difference would this make compared to the old card? Would it be worth saving more for a 4870 or Nvidia GX2x0?

3 times faster at least. Even a Geforce 8800GT would be more than double the performance of your existing card.
 
At that resolution it's best not to buy the 4870 really unless you have the spare money, so just buy the 4850 and get the same amount of performance!

Awesome price/performance ratio.... it's 3 generations above your current one so you'll notice a nice boost in FPS, especially with the rest of your system.
