got the palit 7900GS 512mb card, which Nvidia dx10 card gives same sort of performance, more so, apart from the 8800 ones? or that the only way to go?
 
If the palit 7900GS 512mb is still running ok why bother getting a card (simply for DX10?, which is pretty pointless) that is only similar speed. Stick to the card you have untill you can afford something faster.
