I bought a pre-built PC. Thinking about getting a 7900GT (came with a 6600GT). Can I run a 7800GT or a 7900GT of the 350w PSU that it came with?

Might be on the line. What make and model is the PSU and what are the specs for the 12V rail. I mean it should be ok, but it may be borderline. IIRC 6600GT's don't even need an external power.

The spec lists 350 Watt Fortron Source PFC

Opened the case. There is spare connections that you would put into a hard drive and also the smaller ones you would put into a floppy. Should there be others of another size that go into a PCI-E card or will one of them do?

Thyanks

You can also use a pci-e adapter if your PSU doesn't have native pci-e support.
Yup - only costs about £3. It has two hard drive types power connectors into the one PCIe 6 pin rectangular connector.
