Nope, SLI doesnt work with multiple monitors

How you mean doesnt work? like you couldnt run 2x 19" monitors off them in 2d mode ? Im sure you could as 2x sli is like '1' video card sorta thing, also I heard there was a new driver out soon that enables you to run upto 4 monitors in 2D mode (normal windows multi monitor) and then it will automatically switch to SLI on 1 monitor when gaming

Am I right with all of this and your talking about 3d stuff ? lol

Yes the 7900gt will be fine for running all of them. Depending on what you are doing on them.
If its pretty much desktop use, with gaming on one screen at a time you'll be good to go.
If your panning on getting games over all 3 you'll be seriously pushing it.

I ran 3 monitors when I had SLI, 4 on occasion when using my projector.

You just enable/disable SLI. Sometimes it required a reboot, but often it would work without rebooting at all. The NV drivers store the monitors and their positions, so upon disabling SLI all the monitors are already setup for you.

You can't run two monitors and a TV at the same time with 1 graphics card, you need to disable one of the monitors. The TV counts as another monitor - and since the card only supports 2 ;)

yes but my graphics card has vivo and was thinking of using that for tv to watch movies on if it would work or do u recommend me forking out for another 7900gt and would i see a increase on graphics or would it be better to buy dual core cpu for my socket 939

you cant run 2 displays and video out as far as i know. just buy a 2nd graphics card and stick it in the 2nd pcie slot and dont run sli you should now get 4 displays
