7900GT Memory ?

Is it worth paying the extra for a 7900GT with 512mb, or should I just stick with the 256mb version?

Stick with the 256 version.
If you want the 512 you may as well spend a bit extra for a GTX

The extra 256mb makes little difference even at high resolutions.
get the 256MB card and buy youself something nice with the spare change
