7900gt power ?

Hi there

A mate of mine has the following system and was wondering what wattage PSU would suffice to power it with full stability.

AM2 X2 3800+
1024MB RAM
7900GT

Would a 450W PSU from a local PC shop do the job?

It depends on the quality of the PSU. If it's a generic brand cheapo jobby, I'd go for 500W minimum. If it isn't too cheap, 450W should be fine, as long as you're running only a few HDDs/ODDs.
