I distinctly remember EVERYONE saying that the GT's weren't going to be out for at least 2-3 weeks. Obviously they were wrong, I'm just wondering why everyone was so sure on this when it was not the case?

I kept insisting that the 790GTs would be hard launched at the exact same time as the GTXs. Absolutel;y every single news peie and rumour and industry insider indicated this.

Some people refused to listen though :p

KK I just get on edge when people on OcUK are wrong as I see them as a little bit of an information hub. Sort of the same feeling as when google's down. Nice price on the GT's though :D Hopefully be getting me a used 7800GT/GTX after I sell off my rotting AGP bits.

Rmours of 2X 7900GTs on asingle card for < $600 (well it would have to be because they are $300 each anyway). SO a 7900GT Duo card could be $550-600- now the price-performance of that is amazing.

Depends if it works anything like SLI. If it does then it's totally pointless.

:Edit:
Unless of course Ageia decide to use PCI-E for their PhysX cards later on, then that'd be well handy
