Since having my power color pcs+ 7950 I've been having problems with BF3 and the BF4 beta in terms of artifacts when the card is overclocked. I would sometimes see lines/spikes protruding from players and vehicles and very occasionally triangular like shapes flash/flicker. Everything pointed to the memory overclock including previous posts here. However, after lots of testing, I've found it's the core overclock causing the issue. I need to run 1.188v for a 1072mhz core clock 100% stable which seems high? It's not an issue as such as my temps are very good, just more surprised by it relative to other cards. I was eventually finding that at 1075mhz, 1.175v and only a memory overclock of 1315mhz I was still getting the below artifacts. I continually dropped the memory with no success and so decided to up it to 1400mhz to see if the problem became worse - nothing seemingly changed hence going back to change core settings.

Am I missing something here, or can artifacts like in the screenshot be explained with a fractionally unstable core? I always thought core = white dots, odd colours?

I've heard you can need up to 1.2V to get 1100 on some cards, luck of the draw really. You can afford to increase your voltage a bit if, as you say, your temps are fine.
