Wow temps are high on the game running on auto it gets over 84 degrees!
Question is will running two cards on cross fire give me a lower temp? or will they both run at 85??
Ive gone to 1080p in the game as its struggling on temps badly

I would imagine crossfire will give you higher temperatures. UNLESS you use vsync and crossfire enables you to get over 60fps. Then you might get lower temps as the cards will be throttled to not go over 60fps and wont hit 100% usage.

Use a custom fan profile. For highest settings at 1440p or higher you'll need a dual 7950 crossfire setup. I'd recommend overclocking to 1100/1500 if you can.

hi guys, im not goign to overclock when the temps are already stupidly high. They will only go up.
I wondered if they would just get hotter going for two cards.

usually the PC runs at 75 when playing high end games does take a beating but this is a whole new ball game

woooo wooo wooo!
its an awesome model! ok the best i had was a sapphire but i sold that and got this :D
Having said that, ive just added some new thermal paste and its now at 70 and not 90! i am going to modify the side i think in order to get a better intake and outake of air. Ive already stuck holes in it and gained 2degrees so i'll see how that goes...

As someone above said, use custom fan profile, to scale higher up when you go over 45C

I used TRIXX last night to do so, and works like a charm on my new 7950.

And you need some more airflow in the system tbh. (Or open the side panels and see how it goes).

Watercooling I found was the answer to High Temps :)

Ok a bit expensive but the loop can be re-used with a new block if you change gpu.

I added this not long ago to my 7950 and it runs a lot cooler and it IS , now, silent :D

im happy with running at 70 thats fine for me 90 wasn't. Im looking at customing the case somewhat for some more air intake on the side. I got away from a water cooled unit before as it was hassle with upgrading bits and buying blocks for new cars. Plus i run a really good noctua cooler on my CPU and that stays at around 50 with full load.
The thermal paste made a huge difference. Now im tempted to either go for another card or get a 7970 or maybe a 7990
