7950 bottleneck my cpu?

okay so i upgraded my 6850 to a 7950 it comes tomorrow but im sure it will bottle neck my cpu
AMD phenom ii x4 965 B/E 3.7 ghz im gaming at 1080p at the moment but will i still see a nice increase of performance because of the gpu upgrade?

You will see a decent increase in performance and there will be a bottleneck too.

It will be ok if you intend to replace the CPU at some point in the time you intend to keep the 7950. If you don't it would be a bit of a waste.

only game youll probably notice anything if you do will be skyrim 99 percent everything else will be fine

Because not all games use 4 cores or more? (Actually vast majority of them don't )
