Roll back to 12.1?
Ill try it later. For some reason steam has started downloading 1.2gb of data. Either my game files were messed up or crytek has released a new patch.

That suggest it was downloading the Hi-Res/DX11 pack.
Problem is fixed now after downloading that 1.2gb of data. But it was not the Dx11 or hi res pack because its greyed out in the options.
I get this error messege when i start the game now though

You need to copy the "Hotlink for Forums" code not the "Direct Link".
You cant DL that from steam.
