i know what ** coming from, but this g/c will mean i dnt have to upgrade for ages, plus if im running it at 1366 x 768 rez then games in a year maybe 2 years time will still be running on this card.

Where as if i get a monitor that goes up to 1680 x 1050 / 1920 x 1200, generally costs more. and i wont be able to run at these res for long when the new games are out.

do you get me?

Whats wrong with upgrading though? No point in spending £400 odd for something which will be no use to you for another 6months maybe more.

19" WS (Hyundai - probably one of the best value for money) has 1440 x 900 resolution and even a GX2 is too high spec for that.

Edit: I dont think LCD TV's are partically good for PC games in the first place though are they?

yes it will look top notch once you use the sli 8x or sli 16x AA setting.

can u run sli AA on a res off 1300x732?

i have been advised that 512MB nVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX is the best choice for me.

even though this isnt sli can i utilse the AA setting, or if i just turn everthign up on max it will blow me awy?

Some are more suseptible to lag than others (like refresh rates) to be honest I never noticed it on a Samsung hd tv playing at full res with a decent spec pc - I am sure others hwoever hated it

Its worth checking for sure - but like me you may not notice in the slightest
