I have just installed a 7950 GX2 in an Abit AW8 which is listed on Nvidias web site as compatible wthj BIOS v1.4. I have Bios v1.6 but I'm not seeing any SLI options in the nVidia control panel. In it's new format the controlpanel does not show the games icon for profiles and in classic mode there is no SLI render option.

Is my Motherboard not working or is this how a 7950 shows up?

Cheers.

Andi.

You need to read the rules on sig dude, before the mods completely remove your sig and give you a replacement warning one.

To see if SLI is enabled you need to change the control panel from classic view to the new look control panel. As the SLI enabled option is not in the classic panel anymore.

how daft is that - surely it should be in both?

The drivers don't treat the 7950GX2 like a conventional pair of cards fitted into two PCIe slots , Instead it's listed as a single card with "Multi GPU Configuration" in the performance tab of the NEW control panel.

Your 3Dmark06 score is low but make sure you set the drivers to performance mode to get the best result & you haven't stated what CPU your running either so there could be some bottlenecking going on somewhere.

So I can't select things like SLI render mode?
