I needing some Tech Wizard Help!!

Since upgrading from a 4890 to a 7950 Asus direct CU II Top for some reason I can no longer set my samsung 2232bw display resolution to 1650x1200, only 1650x1080 :confused:

Im also getting some random green pixels appearing occasionally, I have a 19" dell secondary monitor that does not experience this issue so im hoping its something to do with the incorrect screen resolution/driver/software issue!

Considering a reinstall with the as there could be probs from the old card software sitting somewhere (But was fully uninstalled beforehand) but have not long done a fresh install so would prefer not to have to do this.

Just hoping someone here may know a thing or 2 about a thing or 2 and save me!!!
 
Addition.. I do not get the green bits when Im gaming, only during desktop stuff, and usually get worse if got stuff like youtube running.
 
Second addition... Have used the current 12.2 drivers, the latest beta drivers, no fix, used 7800 drivers and got worse green bits got worse but still no 1650x1200 option!

The native resolution of that panel is 1680x1050, I think you might be mis-remembering what you had as it wont do 1200? The only resolution with 1200 is 1920x1200.

You seem to be correct sir! Hmmmm seems I may have gone off my rocka, would have bet my house that was the spec! But found my old order and tis the case! Will have to plug my 4890 back in and see what the dealio is or if ive just gone barmy!

So thats one problem solved, lol, now need to solve the green bits but that would look to be more a Driver issue then hopefully to be solved in the not to distant future.

Will try the 12.3 see if they are bit better :(
 
Oooh 12.3 looking good so far! Done the usual things to see issues and nothing at all so far!!!

Only one I didnt try! lol
