Anyone know what power pin configuration the Gigabyte Windforce 7950 uses? 6+6 or 8+6??

Two 6 pins mate (going by what I saw on the vortez review pics at any rate), same as mine as well.

2018 iirc.

I'm pretty sure it was 1250/1620 with 1.25V but I can't remember and I don't think I have the screenshots anymore.

My 7950 isn't working, gives the red vga led on my mb and doesn't display a picture, Damn me wanting a new graphics card!

Try resetting your BIOS, ie battery out etc.

Still nothing I take it.

No other PC or a mates PC locally to try it in?

Reseat the card, try another PCI-E slot, make sure the power connectors are fully in.

No, most of my local mates have move to the dark side ( consoles) .

And I've tried those other things, guess I'll just have to ring OCUK in the morning and hopefully they will sort out a replacement

Asus board? I had same issue with my card, but card was fine it was MB had to RMA it.

Yeah it is an asus p8z68 v pro. The thing is it works fine with my 560

Strange Have you tied updating the BIOS? My ASrock z68 board needed a Bios update for the new 7950/7970 cards to work. That fails looks like card is DOA.

RMA it
