7950 noisy fan

Looking for advice, got a 7950 and it's now developed a very noisy fan! So noisy it's effecting my use of it. I have had a look around and can't really find a good replacement under 170. So looking at options, I see two at the moment 1- change to a sli 1050 GTX or maybe remove the fan and get a better cooled case.
Any ideas?
 
If you remove the fan it will just overheat unfortunately, either buying a dead 7950(providing its the same layout) from the bay and fitting its fan to yours or maybe getting one of them Arctic accelero coolers but tbh i would think you could probably buy a working replacement 7950 for the price of one of them. A 1050ti would probably give you about the same FPS as your getting now if you did want a new card or if you wanted a second hand card maybe look at a gtx970 or maybe a rx470 if your looking for a nice 50%+ increase.

Before you spend anything i would take it to bits and try and fix it first though.
