Okay, getting my new rig tomorrow, got the E6600, Abit AB9 Pro and 2GB geil ram bundle, but i don't know what gfx card to get...

Max price is £160ish..

I'm thinking either:

BFG GeForce 7950 GT OC 512MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail

OR

Connect3D ATI Radeon X1950 XT 256MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail

The X1950 looks like it's better but i'm not sure, not really kept up with techy news lately, any help is appreciated!!!

thanks

Out of those the my personal preference would be the 7950GT

Have you looked in the clearance section, theres a X1900XT 512Mb for £146 which is probably better than both of the cards you suggested.

Can you stretch the extra £20 for an 8800GTS 320Mb?

Maybe get the E6400 instead of the E6600 which is what i would do :)

Agree with the above, if you can stretch then get the 320mb GTS, i wouldn't spend £160 on an old gen card now, GTS destroys them, has much better iq, and is next gen Dx10 as well, don't throw your money away on old tech if you can. :)
