I am looking to get a 7950, probably msi, i have seen a couple of choices like the twin frozer boost model but there are slower and cheaper models like the be model. Are the cards the same and just over clocked? I am going to watercool the card anywsy so dont mind paying less and overclocking to the same sort of speed. Or are they completly different gpus etc?

Cheers

Different versions are fairly similar but with different custom cooler. "Gaming" or "OC" versions often have higher base/boost clocks. Don't know much about the 7950 but if you watercool, this is not really an issue as you will be able to push the OC clocks much more than the custom cooler would have allowed anyway.

Yeah if people are going to water cool they normally get one of the cheaper ones
